Wow! What can I say? We have thoroughly enjoyed an amazing 2011 Vivacious England/Scotland experience! Some say this year’s event has topped the charts.

Along with a superbly presented, beautiful environment, with our theme Be Real the messages flowed–one into the other–with a culmination of life enrichment or transformation.

Speakers included keynote guests Jenny Gilpin and Rachel Hickson, along with fabulous input from COC speakers Jackie Harland, Cheryl Upton and Ruth Schmierer.

A lovely gift was received by each person on Friday evening, as everyone was encouraged to step forward to receive it. Then we gave generously towards a Vivacious ‘others’ offering to enrich the lives of women/children going through a tough time. This was carried through by selected outreach projects being run by some of our UK churches.

In the Vivacious sending celebration, amazing shopping experiences donated by generous sponsors were given to very surprised ladies who were specifically identified by their pastors.

Our conference teams in both England and Scotland simply excelled. It never ceases to amaze me what we can do when we share hearts, link arms and put our best foot forward. Thanks to a superbly Vivacious team!

Report: ENGLAND Vivacious, 13-15 May 2010

A beautiful venue, excited delegates, warm hearts and open arms – England Vivacious conference certainly made its mark. While God’s girls gathered together from across England, our French sisters joined us, causing this effective event to span the channel and embrace mainland Europe.

Dr. Caroline Leaf (USA) taught us about the brain – how to keep it healthy, repair damage and create new pathways – with God’s Word as a powerful guide for our thought life. An encouraging word by Andy Elmes (Portsmouth, UK) reminded us that God has a key purpose for women, which is not merely to wear fluffy, pink slippers!

Young Voices were a key focus of the conference, and were loved by all. There was a great release of courage and anointing as each young voice issued a clear call, while telling how knowing Jesus has positively impacted her life.

Jackie Harland taught on confidence which is necessary if we are to influence our world as God intended.

Ruth Schmierer’s shopping trolley message was unforgettable. We saw how to go ‘beyond the red line’ – action man, babies and all!
