COC Bulgaria Community and Medical Centre |

• The COC church in Plovdiv, led by Ps Bojidar & Toni Simeonov, has recently founded a community centre with members both from the church and the wider city, focussing on intentional influence which transforms society.
• Their humanitarian foundation already operates a well equipped medical centre and the church is also purchasing a building for a Christian school.

Svetlina na Sveta – Light to the World
• Light to the World Church in Plovdiv has founded a community center with about 130 members from the church and gathering more members from the society. • The idea of this community center is to be able to influence the culture in our city. Community centers in Bulgaria are different in nature to the western types. • They have been very active during the transition period after the liberation of Bulgaria and are a symbol of patriotism and culture in our mindset. Therefore, we have chosen this face for our events with social, and not necessarily strictly religious, nature in order to reach out to the city.
• Currently we have a small library.
• The child care is part of the CC as well and the last event we had was to organize a children's holiday on 1st June in the church building. • We will try to raise financial support from the authorities as the law declares a budget for community centers with active progams in the society.
